Lord Jonah Redwyne entered the ball. Jonah was a tall good looking man. Only seventeen himself he had taken his father's seat after he had been lost at see. The Redwynes and the Hightowers had always been closely allied, and rumors were circulating that Jonah's mother was quite desperate for him to find a wife.
Jonah smiled at Sapphire so deeply, that it was clear who Jonah wanted to marry.
Sapphire though merely patted the slightly older man on the shoulder in a platonic greeting before moving on to the next guest.
Lord Jonah moved into the ball, glancing over his shoulder back at his hostess as he went.

Amelia Graceford entered the ball dressed in a rose colored dress. Only her house heraldry graced the dress, and the icy pleasantries she exchanged with Sapphire could have frozen the room. The beautiful young women had hated each other since they were both five.
Amelia quickly moved away exploring the room.

Distracted by Maerys's comment about the rabble, Dany forgot what Jothos was raising his goblet to. Recovering with a friendly smile to the newcomer, she tipped her goblet slightly as well. "To that," she offered before sipping from it. "So, you are both avid players of cyvasse, then? I must admit, I have only touched the pieces once or twice, but I heard some of the best stories are shared over the cyvasse table." Maerys gave his cup of wine to a servant and whispered something along the lines of, never serve this again. The servant chuckled and moved along. He turned back towards them and nodded to Dany," I have played some but I do not have the same repution or repetoire of moves that Josoth has accrued, I play for fun."

Dany laughed at that, having hated red wine for a long time when she was younger. "It's because it's red and you probably don't drink that much yet," she said, walking over to another passing servant and taking another golden goblet from her. She passed it to Maerys. "Try this, it's Arbor gold."

"You show promise Maerys, you simply need to stick at it," Jothos said with a smile, though his eyes displayed something otherwise.
"But yes, Danyella, you have heard correctly. I've played Lord Garnet - it was an enlightening experience."

Gregor tucks some bits of information away to mull over later. He notices Lara's arrival and makes his way to her grabbing another goblet along the way.
"I was about to send a servant to get you. Your sister no doubt noticed your absence and will be cross with you." He noticed her looking at the patch over his eye. "Ooh...just a prop." He lifted it to show her his blue eye was fine. "Here." He handed her the goblet of wine.
"Your dress is beautiful...even with the ink stains." He said lightheartedly

Lara blinked and said, "I am not thirsty Gregor, but thanks." She suddenly looked down, "I have ink stains?"

Michael looked at Tyana and said, "Aye, I told Sapphire I would be here in time, because Joss was gone again. She is spitting venom tonight." "How very inconsiderate of your brother, has he no sense of responsibility?" She asked, mostly rhetorically as she schooled her face not to smile at the Hightower Heir's mention, "Your sister must be good at hiding the venom then, she seemed perfectly amiable when I saw her."

He smiled and took the wine,"I rarely drink, seeing double the letters makes reading hard." He sipped it, it didn't taste good, but it was a much needed improvement over his homelands concoction."Good choice, though im a little worried that a women as young as yourself would know so much about wine." He smiled jokingly.
He turned to Josoth," I hope too, but im stuck in the middle of Maester Borith's History of the Dornish. One day maybe I can aspire to be as good as the great Jothos Tully."

Michael chuckled, "She is very good at hiding her fangs until they latch onto your ass." He looked at Tyana, and said, "That dress looks quite amazing. As usual."

Zach grimaces and becomes slightly jealous again when he saw a pretty girl kiss his friend Tybalt's cheek. It quickly subsides though as he notices it was just his sister. He finishes his goblet and greets Rodrik as he makes his way over. Once he sees Jaxro enter and start to look bored, he excuses himself from his companions and pours himself more wine.
"How are the seas?" Zach asks Jaxro when he steps by him.

"Well, after they serve it with every meal ever, you sort of get used to it and begin to differentiate them," Dany said with a polite smile, suddenly feeling like she needed to drink more to endure talk of cyvasse and history books. She sipped her wine and observed various people in the hall. "Enlightening in what ways, Jothos?" she asked.
