Joss shook his head, "I would not mind the learning, but not the servitude."

Tyana gave her friend a half grin while knocking their glasses together, and taking another drink. "Fancy swapping?"
she looked round at Joss again behind the bar, "what is there really that you'll be giving up?"

Joss smiled at Tyara and said, "What do you mean?"

"As a maester you live for a castle, as a lord you'll live for much the same? Will you not?" she asked, and then grinned at him "servitude regardless."

Tybalt laughed under his breath, knowing that servitude was a sore topic for Joss Hightower. To avoid embroiling himself in an unpleasant conversation, he turned to Danyella with a wide smile.
"Finish nursing your drink Dany." he said pleasantly. "I believe the Lady of Highgarden owes me a dance."

Dany pushed her drink away gladly, having waited for this ever since Tybalt actually mentioned a dance with her. She stood, grinning. "Shall we?"

Joss nodded, "So you are advising me to refuse my inheiritence?" He smiled at her and took a drink.

Tybalt stood and offered Dany his hand, with a wink to his sister and nod to Joss. He led Danyella out to the lively dance floor, hoping her footing was still steady after all the drinks.

It was, and Dany found that the drinks had improved her sense of rhythm slightly, if anything. She placed her free hand on Tybalt's shoulder. "Does he really play that many instruments in this band?" she asked, referring to Joss.

Tybalt took Danyella's free hand in his right and placed his left on the small of her back, perhaps slightly lower than would be considered proper in court. The venue and liquor had made the young man bold.
"We have yet to find an instrument he can't play admirably. Even the exotic ones he can usually teach himself to play after a short while." Tybalt replied, as the pair danced across the floor. "We've begun taking wagers, promising the pot to the man that can bring in the instrument that stumps him. It has grown rather large and remains unclaimed."

"I am neither condemning or condoning anything." she said, taking another sip and shaking her head slightly at the alcohol, "I think that you should do things for the best of the people you rule, even if it's not what you want. At least, that is what I have been told I should think, it makes sense though." the alcohol was making her ramble.

She took a graceful spin before replying. "Then I hope luck strikes for someone. Not you though, gods know you don't need the money," she said teasingly with a smirk.

Joss replied, "I have never been good at doing what I have been told because I was told."

"Well then, you'll be a selfish lord then." she said, honestly with a grin then covered her mouth with her hand, " I'm sure you'll be... Adequate."

Joss nodded, and chuckled, "You see the Longmoss has made you much less cold then you usually are."
