The Master of the hounds is named Felix. He loves his dogs, and rarely leaves.
Anthony Hightower has for years come here, for he has always gotten along with the Dogs better then people.

Finn Varner arrived at the Kennels looking for Felix, or failing that Anthony Hightower.

Felix and Anthony were playing with three puppies when he came in. Anthony slipped out of sight as Felix turned toward Finn. He had long brown hair that was uncontrollable, and a beard so long it looked like he had never shaved, "M'lord?"

Finn did not bother to correct him, "Hello, my name is Finn Varner." Finn said, "I've been tasked with organizing a hunt for Lord Hightower and the King when he comes, I was wondering if you could help me."

"I don't know," Finn replied honestly, "I'm not really sure what we're hunting for. What's available around here?"

Felix said, "Well to be honest the game close to the city have been real picked dry. But there are some forests protected by Lord Garnet two days north, and he has a large camp established there." He smiled, "There we have some boar, and stag, occasionally those quick small stag from dorne, and very rarely lions."

Finn hmmed, "Well, what if I wanted to make sure that we had a lion? Could we maybe go out and track one so that when the times come we'd know where it's lair was, and have a better chance to get one?"

Felix touched his chin, "I think it is possible. We will need one of his lords foresters."
Anthony stepped forward, "I am coming."

Finn turned towards the young lord and smiled, "Thank you," he said, with a polite bob of the head. "I'm anxious that these things go well, and if his grace were to have a hunt and catch a lion, that would be tremendous indeed."

Anthony shrugged, "I do not give a fig for the king, but if you are taking dogs out against a lion. I will be there. I helped train all of them."

Finn nodded politely, "I... Yes, of course. I understand completely. We don't need to catch the thing today, you understand. I just... want to know where it lives, so we can find it again when the King arrives, that's all. I don't know much about dogs, but... I have hunted with animals before, and there is a responsibility to them." He told the Hightower boy.

Anthony nodded, and said, "Yes... there is." He looked back down at his feet, and crouched down to pet a dogs head.
