The Great Hall is where most meals take place. The High Table is almost never used in the rare occasions that the Lord is home.
Twenty tables that can each hold eight run up and down the room. Each Hightower child has a table they have claimed for themselves and their friends. And Maester Lymon has a table he used to shared with the late Lady of the Keep.

During Midday meal the week following the Ball, Saphhire went to the high table for a change and called for everyone's attention. She began to speak easily, "As you all may or may not know The Festival of the Heart Stone is in just over a month. Maester Lymon, Ser Derek and I have been planning the festivities. And there will be two events. One I am running which will be a treasure hunt through out the area, and Ser Derek is going to have a King of the Tower competition. If you wish to participate in either event please speak with one of us. And the treasure hunt will be for teams of four. I will announce the prizes later, but I assure you they will be magnificant." Sapphire paused, and asked, "Are there any questions?"

Maerys stopped eating with the spoon halfway to his mouth, he put it down in his bowl of porride."Can we have a melee?"

Baelor had been sitting at Sapphire's table with is friends but when the girl rose he watched her closely with a grin. "Will you be competing, Sapph?"

"Can girls enter the king of the tower contest?" Mariya asked.

"Of course not!" Baelor shouted. "Girls can't be kings, Mariya!"

She smiled sweetly and said "I don't think Sapphire meant it quite that literally. And it hardly seems fair to arrange a game half of us can't take part in."

Maerys laughed,"Why can't she enter, Baelor are you afraid of losing to a girl?"

Sapphire replied, "I will not be competing Baelor. And you would need to ask Derek Mary, but I do not think he intends girls to enter. And boy Mary, there will be elements of a melee to the King of the Tower competion."

Baelor grinned back at Mariya and Maerys, before sitting back in his chair. "Told you!"

Mariya seethed as she clasped her fists under the table. She longed to hit Baelor but she made herself smile sweetly and promised revenge later.

Gregor looked up for brief moment as Sapphire began to speak then went back to reading his book while spooning stew from the trencher. It was clear that he was more interested in the book.

Zach continues to eat throughout the announcement, but still listening to every word. He gazes around at the mention of a four person team, wanting to win that for sure he knows he must try and form a team rather quickly. He'll lose the king of the tower, that was almost certain with some of the competitors that are sure to join, but his speed will aid him on this treasure hunt.

Rycherd leaned his chin on his fist. He would see Ser Derek about the King of the Tower competition.
