The city of White Harbor. This small city is the only port and city in the North, and sees to almost all of the region's trade. It is ruled by Lord Manderly, one of the few Northmen who follow the Seven.

Winter's Wind a trading vessel out of White Harbor arrives at its home port, and begins unloading its good. The Flint's of Widow's Watch, joined by their guest Heidi Caron, disembark into the city, against a bracing northern wind as a light summer snow falls.

Heidi shivered and pulled her cloak tightly around her shoulders.

Summer, wrapped up in her own fur cloak, looked over at Heidi and smiled, "I think we may need to find you some good furs Heidi dear," She said. "Father," She asked Tormund, "Would it be alright if Lady Heidi and I did some shopping before we depart for Widow's Watch?"
Tormund nodded, "We've some things to pick up while we're in town, and we can't have our guest freezing to death, so go ahead." he said, handing her some coin in a purse, and shooing the two along. Summer chuckled, and grasped Heidi's hand, and hurried down the streets.
"Okay dear," she said with a giggle, "So now to get you furred."

Heidi linked arms with summer and giggled and her teeth chattered with cold. "do you think I will look good in a fur cloak like yours?"

"Darling I'm sure you'd look good in anything, look at that figure," She replied, sticking her tongue out, "But what colors are best for you?" She asked.

Most pale collies, my skin is to light for bright colours."

"Well generally animals don't come in bright colors darling," Summer said sticking her tongue out. "So you're basically left to grey, black, brown, white, or if you want a red fox, orange, but I think it would match your hair, and you'd like like a big furry cat yourself, so my advice is to avoid that."

"oh..." Summer said, "no. You'd not find them, except beyond the wall dear, or so I've heard. Perhaps in the very high places. We can ask my cousins about them, when we meet them." She said.

"Only in the summer and spring," Summer replied, sticking her tongue out. "And White Harbor is the furthermost south you can get, and not be in the swamps of the neck."
