The squire's joust will be a challenge based event. The first to arrive at the stands becomes the Champion, and recieves Ten points.
There will be three passes for each challenge. A broken lance is worth one point, and unhorsing your opponent is worth three points and ends the challenge immediately in your favor.
At the end of the challenge the loser is the man with the lower number of points won during that challenge.
At the end of the day the squire with the most points is named champion.

Maron Harlaw is selected as the first champion of the Joust, and moves up to his place.

Tytos Frey is Maron's first challenger.
The two men approach ride to the center, and salute the king, and then ride slowly to their posts. Turning they salute, and then charge at one another.
People are surpised when Harlaw manages to unhorse the Frey in the first pass.
Maron Harlaw: 13 points.

Next the Mystery Squire rides up, and salutes the king before taking his place. Maron salutes, and the two men charge each other, neither lance breaks though.

Ryk and Ramsay tour through the stands, with pouches of Sour leaf on their belt.
"sour leaf! Cures what ails you! Gives you pep, make you ready for the what the day will bring!" Ryk says.
"Sour leaf!" Ramsay remarks, at another part of the stands, "Cures pains, headaches, and common ailments. Gives you energy, and makes you quicker!"

Tytos has the grace to offer the victor a short bow before hurrying from the field, where he is met by a red-faced Garlan.
After a clout to the head, he is dragged by his gorget out of sight.
"Poor brother just never had a talent for fighting," Lyanna says to the man sitting next to her in the stands. "Shy and lacks confidence. I doubt he will ever become a knight," she sighs.
Others mumble their agreement, and word of Tytos' inability is quickly spread.
"Enough!" Lord Frey said sharply, and not another word of it was said.

"Back pain, joint pain, tootache!" Ramsay adds.

Ser Garlan with Tytos in tow reetner the stands.
"Out of my way," Garlan growls as he pushes through the stands.
He comes upons the Flints, and shoulders past one, his face dark with fury.
Tytos slinks a ways behind him, looking at the Flints with curious, shy eyes.

Garlan ignored him, but continued to his seat.
Tytos stops short before the Flint, his eyes drifting from the leaf to the man's face and back.

Tytos looked longingly. He nodded twice. "Will it truly do as you say?" he asked in a queit voice, barely audible over the fray.

Harlaw and the mystery knight charge one another again, and some how Harlaw's lance breaks, but the mystery squire remains astride his beast.

Maron Harlow misses the other knight on the third pass, but the mystery knight also misses.
Maron Harlaw wins one point.
Maron Harlaw has fourteen points.
