Lyelle smiled and grabbed a glass of wine. "If you are participating in the joust I might be inclined to let you wear my favour."

"I am not." Tomas replied, "Perhaps the melee." Lyenne grinned and found a handkerchief with the Bolton sigil on it. "Wear this ser, and I shall clap just for you." She held out the handkerchief.

'Lovers? why would i want lovers?' Jast replied slowly, "Well the most common reason is simple lonlieness. I have heard others say it was out of boredom. The reasons vary from man and woman."

She smiled. 'But is that not more for a man? why should i sink to finding some one other than my husband? i was brought up to believe that it was forbidden.'

Ryon Redwyne stays close to the wall, the expression on his face making it clear that for him, social events are an obligation and not a joy. Eventually he sees Ser Erik Tyrell, and the other man having spotted him, Ryon sees no choice but to go over and pay his respects.
"Ser Erik," Ryon says in a soft but respectful tone, "I did not think to find you in the city. Are you competing in the tournament?"

Myranda and Marq Allyrion arrived slightly later than most of the attendees, both with matching looks of irritation on their equally good looking faces.
Marq was finely dressed, wearing a rich red doublet with black breeches and black boots. His shoulder length hair was pulled back, out of his face and tied behind him.
Beside him, his sister was also wearing a predominately red dress with a fairly low cut, but tastefully so, and not too low by any means. It had gold trimming rather than the more typically expected black. In her hair there was a golden headband, keeping back most the hair from her face and only letting a small portion of her hair in front to frame her face. A long gold necklace was round her neck, with black gemstones in it and a matching bracelet.
"Wearing the host's colours is bad form sister." Marq muttered to her, earning a glare as they approached Lord Lannister.
Myranda smiled at the host and curtsied to him, "Thank you, for the invitation, my Lord." she said, respectfully, as Marq bowed.

Lord Baldwin greeted them in the same manner he had greeted all of ihs guests, and then a paige announced their presence to the room.
