Ned look at Stout, and then replied quickly, "North about these Wildlings, leaving no men behind."

Mors shook his head. "No, unless Lord Stark asks otherwise of us, we will keep to our own lands. Other lords up North will deal with the threat on their lands." He placed a hand on Lord Waterman's shoulder, "Cousin, you will help me prepare for any threat the Ironmen might pose. We must fortify the river."

"That is what I meant my lord." Waterman replied quickly.

"Right," said Lord Dustin. "So, then, I would like you to work with our cousin, Ondrew Dustin, who manages Saltyawn for me. With him you will begin construction on a boom made out of hulks that could be deployed to block the river. Are your warships in good fighting condition?"

Waterman thought for a moment, and then said, "I damaged two during a training regime, but the men responsible have been terminated, and new captains promoted."

Mors clenched his jaw. "Okay. Make sure they're made seaworthy as a matter of urgency. Also drill them, but try to keep them at a state of readiness for action with little warning."

"I will drill them unceasingly my lord. As you command." Waterman replied and then smiled.

Mors gave him a little nod. "I will be down to see how it's coming along in the near future. Since he doesn't have ships to deal with Ondrew will manage the creation of the booms. I ask that you support him in whatever he may ask of you."

"Is there something you did not understand, Ned?" Mors replied.

"Yes... I did not understand what you said there at the end. What is the chain of Command?" He asked pleasantly enough.

Mors nodded. "For the purposes of readying and drilling the ships, that is your main purpose. For the more mundane task of preparing the boom, Ondrew will take lead. He may need resources from you, such as wood, or old boat hulks and the like."

"Of course... my Lord. That is not an issue." He frowned, and then changed it into a smile.

Mors nodded. "And so onto other business. Tell me, each of you, how your lands fare."
