"Stout," Mors said, "it was troubling. I could not prize from Lord Stark what really he was hoping to gain from marriage, and I have reason to doubt that his claims that it was for the love of his sister and the ironman that it was allowed." Mors shook his head. "What's more, my effort to engage Lord Greyjoy on the matter of trade not only failed to yield us any benefit... It left me sure of his intentions to let his men run wild."

Stout nodded, "So except for a black sheep in the starks, shit has not changed much."

"The mummers may not have changed, but I think the farce may have," Mors replied. "The Ironmen are what they are, Balon Greyjoy has probably always believed that reaving was his right. The difference is a boy king on the throne and Dorne standing near independent... And our own Lord seems aloof from the crown too. I'd like to think Greyjoy realizes that in that case the aloof would do best to stand together..." Mors shook his head, "but I just did not get that impression. He may instead be thinking he can get away with reaving here becuase we are in disfavor. What do you think?"

Stout frowned, and replied, "I do not have much fear of them Iron boys. They are strong true enough, but they are just crows scavenging off the weak."

"That has been the way of it, in recent times anyway. I don't much fear them on land unless our own forces are drawn away for some reason." Mors grunted, "That reminds me, the Starks told me of wildlings far south of the wall. In the vicinity of Winterfell or maybe further... We've never had to worry about them here..."
