"Oh, of course," she said, brightening. "I will be happy to help. Do you know which ladies will be attending yet? Will they all be from the VAle?"

"Mostly the vale, and the Stormlands. Maybe a few other locales, not entirely sure." Beric replied.

"Of course. If you know who the chief ladies are, will you let me know before the party, so I can be prepared? I truly do want to be helpful, ser. You..um...are not married then, Ser Beric"

Beric shook his head, "I was too wed, but she died. I had not even met her yet." He nodded, "I will be unsure of who is attending until we arrive, beside Lord Royce, and his brother the Hand. The Hand's wife lives in Runestone, and I do not know if Rhodri brought his own darling wife."

"Oh. I regret I don't know Lord Rhodri's lady," she confided. "But I will be pleased to meet any lady you think worth meeting. Should we bring Mark to the party as well?"

"Most likely not. I am only allowed to bring the one guest." He said.

"AH, that's alright hten. Mark can go to one of his taverns or something. He'd probably rather do that," she said, laughing. "If ever you need a man to make acquaintances in the city's winesinks, send for Mark. He has a great knowledge of wine and drinking games and so forth."

Beric nodded, "I will take note of that."

"He's a good man, truly, but rather too fond of Dornish decadence and I think it'#s best he stick to unofficial events, and the tourney, unless his presence is required. As for me, Ihave never been fond of decadence so I shall be extremely careful, I promise."
She smiled innocently.

Beric nodded, "That is good to hear, excess can occasionally lead to embaressment. Also you should wear your best gown, these are the cream of King's Landing."

"I will, yes, of course I will."
She felt abit nervous now he'd said that but excited too. It would be a challenge for her to be among such important people who weren't Dornish but she was looking forward to it.
"Where is the party to be held, ser?"

"Rhodri's personal Manor. It is called Manse of the Spear I believe... I will meet you there, it is not in the direction of the Red Keep."

"Oh, of course. I'll arrange for a litter because I don't know where it is and I won't want to be travelling alone at night. I'm looking forward to it."

Beric nodded, "That is good. If there is nothing else, Eldon will escort you out."
The Servant raised his hand and waved at her with a large smile on his face.

"There's nothing else, thank you, ser. I won't forget your kindess."
She curtsied and followed the servant out.
