Isolde Toland arrived at the manse of the man her husband worked for, though she was beginning to wonder how much work Mark actually did.

A servant all natted up stood at the door, and bowed to her, "Is Ser Beric expecting you?"

Isolde smiled prettily and shook her head.
"He's not. I can make an appointment if it will please Ser Beric. Please, tell him I'm Isolde, wife of Ser Mark Toland. I can come back at his convenience. "

"I will see if Ser Beric is available." The man turned and entered the keep.
Very shortly he returned, and asked, "Who are you again? I seem to have forgotten. You see I found this penny, and I think it is of Braavos origin. I am a coin collecter myself. And I need a penny, and in the process, I forgot your name. Wait... was it Lady Boland? I think it was."

"Isolde, of House Toland. I've no coins of Braavosi origin," she said, frustrated but still smiling with determination., "But you may have a silver stag if it will help."

"I have three silver staps. One from the last king, and one from the last king's tenth anniversary. They used a special stamp. And one from his father's reign. I have seen one from his father's father's reign but could not afford it. I have all eight Pentoshi coins, and several of the marks being made down in Dorne. That was thanks to Ser Beric. He is such a joy to work for, even if he is all pale and tragic." The servant barely paused for breaths, but occasionally he does.

"I'm sorry I cannot help you at present but mayhals I could make enquiries back at Ghost Hill. Dorne had its own coinage before it entered the Seven Kingdoms. Lady Viviane might have one or two that she would be willing to give me as a present for you," she suggested. "Please, may I see Ser Beric now?"

"Oh of course." He turned and walked into the house. About thirty minutes later he reappeared, took one look at her, and turned back into the house.
Soon Ser Beric appeared, Due to his unfortunate birth, Beric has pale skin, thin silver-ashen straight hair, which falls infront of his face and deep pruple eyes, which are speckled with grey. He is tall, around 6'1", slim, with a wiry frame of muscle, and has an almost corpse-like appearance, which earned him his nickname. He prefers wearing dark colors, mostly black, even in the heat of the Dornish sun, and he speaks with a thin voice, causing people to strain to hear him.

Isolde had been in KingslLanding a while now, but Mark had never invited her to meet the man for whom he worked. She had heard a litlte of man's reputation, enough to make her curious, but no more. She looked at him for one moment and then dropped into a cursey that sent her wide, sea-green skirts billowing out around her.
"Ser Beric," she breathed. "Thank you for agreing to see me. I was wondering, since my husband Ser Mark is employed for you, whether I could be of any assistance myself? I am particularly interested in meeting more ladies of the Court and capital but with only my husband for guidance, I find it difficult to meet new people/ I was hoping you would be able to advise me on who to meet. I am more than happy to let myself be guided by you and to aid Sunspera by making friends with the right people."

Beric noddded slowly, "Please come in." He waved for her to join him, and then he entered into the manse. "I must admit, I am confused by the contradictions you have just put forth, what is it you wish to do."

She didn't understand why there were contraditions in her little speech but it seemed unwise to say so.
"I would like to be of use to Dorne," she said simply. as she followed Ser Beric. "And I would also like to meet the ladies of the Court."

"Yet you claim to be poor at meeting new people. Should perhaps you not put your skills to some other task, one you could achieve better." He asked sincerily.

She flinched slightly.
"I'm good at getting along with people, I just don't know how I am to meet them when I know so few people in the city already. I have to start somewhere but I am of no very great rank so I would benefit from yyour consequence if I were to be known as one of your own acquaintance, ser. I have no great fame that will draw people to me," she said sadly. "So I would be thankful for a little help, and in return I will serve you in any matter that will further the interests of Sunspear."

Beric nodded slowly, "Well perhaps I will have need of you. In two nights, I am to attend the name day party of Lord Rhodri Royce. He has just traveled here from Storm's End for the tourney. It would be good to have a woman escort, the ladies will gossip about different matters then the men, and I need to stay informed."
