"My father once told me that information can be as valuable as any other cargo," Mandon says, "So you must be a wealthy man indeed." He looks around at the opulent surroundings. "I mean, ahh... apart from all of this other wealth, even." He chuckles at his own verbal misstep.

"The guild is quite kind to its members. We are a close band, more a family then a guild." He replied.

"Like Westeros," Mandon says, mostly for the girl's benefit, "Everything is ruled by families, and not much by merchants. But of course our families don't always get along."

"Neither do our merchants." The man replied, "Our wars are much quieter then yours though, with men dying in the streets at night to blades from faceless men."

"Aye," Mandon says, "I think I prefer seeing my enemy eye to eye. But those sorts of wars happen in Westeros, too. If you have the knowledge of where to put it, sometimes one knife can do more damage in these things than a thousand swords."

The man nodded, "Especially with the right hand holding the right dagger." He looked at his guest, "Have you found a buyer for your cargo?"

"I have. My partner and I met with Lord Julio just yesterday morning," Mandon says.

"Congratulations." Torios replied, "Lord Julio is a powerful man in the city. And closely allied with those in the Armory."

"We bought merchandise from Lord Julio as well. Are you aware of his new product?" Ser Mandon asks.

"I have not heard of his new product." The Braavosi replied, "Are you allowed to share?"

"I am selling it, so yes," Mandon smiles, running a finger along his mustache. "A very unique product, if I might say so. But that goes back to my pa's old saying about information being as valuable as any cargo. Maybe you have some sort of news that might interest a Westerosi like myself?"

"I am not sure what would interest a man like yourself." The Habormaster replied, "If I did I would surely trade it with you."

Mandon sips his wine. "Well, I suppose the politics of the Seven Kingdom aren't of much interest to you. But four years back we had quite a big war, ended up with the Targaryen dynasty overthrowing the Baratheon one. And like all wars, some of the losers got forgiven, some got punished, and others fled their punishment. Knights, some lords... even the old king's children, if rumors can be believed."
He shrugs. "Of course they had to flee to somewhere. If you might know where, I think I know some folk in my parts who'd pay for that knowledge."

"He was here. He sailed into the city, and stay a short time. There was much talk of it at the time. A lone king and a vesself of his last loyal companions. He traveled south and east from here." The man leaned back, "I have no knowledge of where he went, but every free city has a Guild allied with my own."

"South and east," Mandon repeats, thinking about it, and coming to the conclusion that he does not know that much about geography on this side of the Narrow Sea. "That is useful information," Mandon acknowledges, "So there are men in your guild who might know where this man and his companions went?"
