Myranda was slightly more aware of the attention they were gaining, and blushed a little at it, not really liking being the centre of attention. Though nobody could be sure it was her, though they may take an educated guess.
"The promenade was always one I enjoyed when I was taught, but I do not dance enough to really know which ones I prefer. You clearly know what you are doing though, I am very impressed," Myranda complimented, still letting him lead her when he needed to and feeling more relaxed around him now, despite the watchers.

The man seemed to sense her nerves, "Do not worry... they are all looking at me." He laughed merrily as he spun her around and turned into a Targaryen Waltz, "Are you bold enough for some dances from across the sea? I know a Pentoshi Tango that will make every cheek in sight burn with envy."

"All skill is in the one who leads, so long as you know what you are doing, hopefully it shall look like I know what I am doing." she said, grinning at the man again. In truth she had never seen nor heard of a Pentoshi Tango, whatever that was, but if there was a night for trying new things with less fear of ridicule than normal, this was it, "And I am not sure I can pass up a chance to make the rest of the room green," Myranda added with a smirk.

The man laughed, "I love an adventurous soul." He pulled her closer then was any Westerosi dance, and began to move slowly with her, moving her through a dance that was both sensual and graceful. Dipping her low, he snapped her back close enough that a kiss would have been possible if not for the fact that he was wearing a mask.
Several of the surrounding couples clapped, and one man whistled loudly.

Myranda took a deep breath as she was pulled back after the dip and smiled at the man, but blushed again, especially at the whistle, despite his assurance attention was just on him, "You certainly seem to know what you're doing," she commented quietly, knowing he would hear her at his close proximity. Her hair, which was loose down her back had come in a swirl over one of her shoulders, "How is it you learned such a dance?"

"I have traveled many times to the cities across the narrow sea. And danced with many a beautiful woman." He took her hand, and slowly walked from the dance floor. "Never a dance quite like that, nor a woman quite like yourself." He give her hand a small squeeze."

It was Myranda's turn to laugh, "How do you know what kind of a woman I am?" she asked and looked to their joint hand as he squeezed it, hesitating a moment before changing their grip to their fingers were laced together. "I could be anything yet."

The man chuckled, "Hardly anything, you forget how closely we danced. I can safely eliminate you being a man." He replied dryly. He grabbed two full wineglasses from a tray of a passing servant, and offered her the choice.

"Being able to determine if I am a man or a woman doesn't really help in finding out what kind of a woman I am, unless you already have me figured out, my father told me you could figure out a lot about a person from how they dance, but I have never really had an opportunity to try it out until now." She took the deep red coloured wine in his right hand and took a sip of it, wrinkling her nose at the strong taste.

The man laughed, "So what did you learn from from my dance? I am quite curious how much of myself I exposed accidently." His head tilted to the side slightly as he awaited a reply.

"If I told you that it would defeat the purpose of me finding out? No? Besides, if we ever dance again without these," she waved a hand elegantly by her face, indicating the masks, "I'd like to see if I can work out if it is you," It's nothing bad so far though, I assure you."

The man chuckled, "Of that I have no doubt. I am quite amazing." He pointed suddenly, "There is your lady Emelia, throwing a masquerade ball, and then bringing a mask so small, and a dress so sheer no man or woman could possibly mistake her for some one else." He snickered, "I had heard only the male peacocks were so adorned in ornament."
Princess Emelia was indeed walking about with a mask on a stick in her hand. She occasionally held it up to her eyes, but quite often lowered it with out thought exposing her identity.

"My princess Emelia?" She asked, looking briefly at Emelia then back to the man, "Does that mean she is not your princess?" she asked, smiling before looking back to their host, "I suppose as our host she does not believe it necessary for people to not know who she is. I don't really know her, but from what I have seen she likes people knowing who she is... a mask would do just the opposite."

"I will admit that I am no Dornishman. I did think that would be obvious, for I have not place one hand on your ass, at least not yet." He chuckled, "And she loves the eye on her as much as I love..." He laughed again, "Well a good dance."

Myranda laughed at what she hoped was a joke, if not she might be quite offended, "I had wondered about that," she replied about his comment about how Dornish men typically behaved, "If you love a good dance then I can only apologise for my mediocre dancing skills, I do not get much practice." She did get the double meaning of what he was saying, but chose to carry it on. "If you are not from Dorne where are you from? If you do not mind me asking?"
