Days after the council Princess Emelia hosts a masked ball for all of her quests. Every lord, and lady is provided a costume of Emelia's choice for the ball itself. As they enter, servants escort them to dressing rooms, and aid them in dressing so no one is aware of the idenity of any other guest by looking.
(ooc-You may choose your own costume. All of the costumres, men and women are alluring, but none of them are in bad taste.)
The braziers are scented with oils, and burn almost red. A low fragant smoke drifts about the room, and brings a sense of pleasure and drunkenss. The wine is potent, and the masked servants attempt to fill any glass that is not overflowing.

Viviane wore a long flowing gown of yellow silk, high-necked but tightly fitted in the bodice. The long skirt and wide sleeves were sewn with red and orange and gold flames, also of silk, and wore a red and gold mask in the shape of flames.
Eleyna was clothed all in green with a diaphonous gold underskirt and gold lace to fill in the low bodice. She wore a necklace of emeralds around her throat, and matching earrings, and her mask, green and gold, was highly decorative.
The last of the Tolands was Ser Triston, who was all in plain black. His breeches were tightly fitted and he wore a sleeveless, tunic over the top., his warrior's figure shown to advantage. His own mask was the one point of colour, being black with red and white patterns sewn in bright thread.

Lord Perros Yronwood, and his paramour Salia Sand arrive wearing the costumes Princess Emelia picked out for them.
Elara arrives escorted by her brother Ser Anders. Elara quickly detaches herself from Anders and approaches Ser Triston.
"Greetings," she said, running a hand down his muscled arm, "are you enjoying yourself?"

Triston smiled and made no attempt to dislodge her hand. There was genuine warmth in his voice.
"I am now," he said. "I think this idea of a masked ball was splendid. It makes everything so much more exciting?"

She smiled. "Indeed, the mystery and the intrigue of it all is very appealing. It's strange not knowing who one is talking to. It could be anybody."

"True enough. I know by your voice that you are neither my sister nor my mother and so I am well content. I am curious though, I wonder if the princess plans to have the whole night turn into a scene of great debauchery. Her GRace does have a certain reputation."
He laughed.

The twins from House Allyrion arrived and were promptly whisked away to get ready.
Myranda had chosen for her a mostly dark purple ensemble. For the top half there was some purple translucent lace that was wrapped tightly around her and cleverly fastened at the waist to leave her shoulders bear, and left the remaining material to fall down behind in in a type of trail. Beneath that was a black strophium to protect her modesty. The bottom were dark purple and black layered skirts that reached the floor. Her mask itself was mostly purple, but with black and dark purple feathers coming off of the right side.
Marq's outfit was more simple, He wore tight red leather breeches and a sleeveless black tunic that only buttoned half the way up, showing off a lot of his smooth chest and a Dark red and black chequered mask.
They now stood at opposite sides of the room, unable to find one another for it, and both feeling rather exposed.

"And I know you're not my father or brother, and you're too small and too talkative to be the Blackgate, whom I avoid on general principle, so it seems we are free to play," she smiled slyly.

A warm hand took Myranda's and a clearly male's voice said, "Alyssa it is so good to see you again. That ride we took along the river is still one of the most cherished memory of this fool's life."
The man moved close, and was wearing Black and a purple so dark is was nearly black as well. He was slightly above average, and wore the mask of a smiling fool. He raised her hand to his painted mouth, and loud smacking sound could be heard behind the mask.

The hand that took hers made her start for a second, and she turned to face the man as he got closer. She didn't understand what he was saying at first and recoiled briefly, before relaxing and smiling a bit. She assumed this was all part of the evening, not knowing who you were meeting and not having to be yourself for the time being.
"Of mine also, you can be sure, you look not a fool now, though," she said, stepping up to him, hoping this was the way things were supposed to be and that this man hadn't just mistaken her for someone else.

"If I remember correctly, and I am sure I do, that beautiful girl I met, loved to dance." He took her arm formally, and began to walk toward the dance floor, "I never got a chance for a formal dance that day, just the in formal kind of course." There was a breif knowing chuckle.

"Well, then we should be grateful for this opportunity," she commented and placed her hand lightly on his shoulder once they had reached the floor, "You had better not waste it, who knows when we may again get the chance,"

The man smiled, and placed a hand on her hip, and began to dance. He was exceedingly graceful, "Well that is a bit of a romantic notion, I must admit. Trying to capture all the dances of a possible life in just one dance." He spuns her, close, then away, and then close again, in perfect time with the music. "I do not know if it is possible."

"You'll never know unless you try, I don't like the idea of anything being impossible" Myranda commented and gave the man a grin, enjoying the skilful way he danced, "But if you really cannot manage you shall have to make up for all the types you might miss in this one, but who knows what may happen."

The man nodded, "Well all the types... this is going to confused the others." He shifted the dance into a jig much more common in a commoner's tavern then the Sunpear court, "That one fits the music well enough, and so does this..." Again he shifted smoothly from a jig into a Mander Promenade, "Quite nicely, we are wowing the crowd." Indeed others were pausing from their dancing to watch the two, "Now this one won't quite fit the music, but will wonderful run in counterpoint to this beat." He laughed as he transitioned into a Valyrion Clap, smacking his hands together, and spinning in place he asks her, "Are there any you prefer?" He takes no notice of the watchers, focused on her, and she can tell that even though his face is masked, he must be wearing a large grin as well.
