OK so a quick poll - How do your respective families/characters feel towards Ser Erik Tyrell, Regent to the Lord Paramount of the Reach?
As far as House Florent goes, Lady Sybil hates the man - the catspaw to the bastards who killed many Tyrells, including her brother. He is a traitor to his family in her eyes.
Lord Alphonse is more pragmatic in outlook but shares some of his wife's deep-seated concern.

The general view among House Redwyne is that Erik Tyrell is Lannister patsy. Some of them might sympathize with him a bit as a man thrust into a difficult situation, but the Arbor is distant enough from Highgarden that his commands can generally be quietly ignored.
House Redwyne considers the excessive encroachment of the Lannisters into the Reach, including controlling the regent Ser Erik and the young Lord Barrett, as the largest problem the Reach currently faces.

The Fossoways believe the Regent to be a puppet of Lord Lannister and the rest of the Westerlands, and there should be a new Regent to the LP, someone who has the best interest of the Reach in their mind.

Seems like we're all on the same page on that one. In a possibly related question, what do you guys think about the Targaryen king?
House Redwyne would much prefer a proper Baratheon on the throne. But that is a long term goal, as it doesn't look like there is the strength or support to accomplish that in the near future.

House Florent doesn't care so much about the Targaryens holding the throne over the Baratheons, they are more concerned with the route the Targaryens took. Again, the link with House Tyrell comes into play.

The Fossoways want nothing more than to see the Baratheons return to the throne. A little because they lost to them, but mostly because they don't see the Targaryens as the throneholder, instead they view the Lannisters as they ones that rule the throne.

Perhaps our lords should meet IC somewhere to discuss these sorts of issues?

That sounds like a good idea, somewhere in Oldtown maybe, that is a neutral place that wouldn't bring to much light upon our meeting?

True, but probably also full of spies.

Hmm, how about on one of the smaller islands outside the Arbor? I mean if we go there by night, or something like that?

Hmm, that could work, if you think we really need to be that secretive. We could probably just meet in one of our keeps, for some excuse or another. I'd be fine with going to Cider Hall or Brightwater Keep. Or hosting at the Arbor. On second thought, I guess Oldtown would work too, I just don't want to be talking in an inn or something where we'd be overheard.

None of our families have control over Oldtown so leaks are always possible. I guess it probably wouldn't make much sense for Lord Redwyne to head to Oldtown so soon after leaving too.
Guests are welcome at Brightwater Keep. A hunting party of Lords could be arranged to celebrate young Dacey Florent's nameday - that way it doesn't look like some Grand Conspiracy. I'm guessing Lords Redwyne, Florent and Fossoway aren't the only Lords in the Reach with anti-Erik/Targaryen/Westerlands viewpoints - perhaps we need to do a little political reconnaisance and find out where additional agreement may be found?

I think that makes sense. If we have all the major lords of the Reach in agreement and take this before Erik, he won't have much of a choice but to accept what we tell him to do. I'll work on Hightower some more, and maybe the Shield Islands or the lords of the south coast.
Do you have a thread for your keep, Florent? Fossoway and I are currently discussing some of this stuff IC, and it would be good to get you involved early too.
