House Connington of Griffin's Roost After the war of Stag and Dragon, House Connington regained much of the lands and wealth it had lost after Robert's rebellion, a token of gratitude from Targaryens to their loyal supporter. However, the loss of their lands and prestige left a wound that was not easy to heal and Conningtons still feel self-conscious about their place among other houses. The present Lord Cregan is ambitious to increase the power and standing of his house and is known to have said that Conningtons would have deserved more compensation than they originally had from Targaryens. This, and the fact that unlike other Stormlords, Conningtons have been loyal supporters of Targaryens has caused some friction in the Stormlands, but overally the relations with the other Stormlords have been good. The lands of House Connington consist mostly lush farmland and light woods with small and peaceful villages dotting the landscape. Griffin's Roost, the seat of Conningtons is a well fortified castle on a hilltop. Even though it has thick walls and well positioned towers, the Griffin's Roost is regrettably small in size, thus being not comparable with the real strongholds of Westeros Region: Stormlands House size: Medium House (250) Defence: (35) +5 Castle(40) Influence: (30) Additional Skills for secont trier characters (10) Lands: (35) -5 Hills(7) Small town (20) Light woods (3) Law: (30) +10 Population: (39) Power:(41) +5 500 infantry (20) 300 archers (9) 60 cavalry (15) 20 scouts (2) Wealth: (40) Maester(10) Market(10) Sept(10)

First Trier:
Lord Cregan Connington, aged 20 Combat(50) Fighting(Greatsword) Cunning(30) Survival(20) Will(30) Knowledge(39) (Learning) Warfare(46) (Endurance, Strategy) Stewardship(40) (Business)
Lord Cregans father, Lord Arys died in a hunting accident when Cregan was aged 14, thus forcing him to take up his duties as the head of house Connington in a relatively young age. Despite initial doubts Cregan soon proved to be both gifted and dedicated administrator. Cregan is a well known to be a dry and pragmatic person, with little sense of humour. Despite his reputation, Cregan is skilled swordsman who likes to spend time practising on the castle courtyard with master of arms and his uncle, Garret.
Ser Garret Connington, aged 39 Combat(70) Fighting(Sword and Shield) Cunning(20) Survival(20) Will(30) Knowledge(29) Warfare(36) (Endurance) Stewardship(30)
Garret Storm is Lord Cregans uncle and almost the exact opposite of his young Lord. Garret is an optimistic, outgoing fellow who enjoys wine and other pleasantries of life in abundance. He used to be an outstanding warrior, but wine and good food have taken their toll and his days of glory are already behind, nevertheless he can still offer a formidable opponent to anyone who dares to challenge him. Garret has served house Connington loyally for many years and is a trusted friend of Lord Cregan, despite their radically different personalities. Garret is a very tall and bulky man who is renowned for his physical strength.
Second Trier:
Maester Humfrey, aged 51 Cunning(20) Knowledge(44) (Learning) Stewardship(40) (Business)
Maester Humfrey has had the honour of teaching Lord Cregan the history of seven kingdoms and many other fields of study. Despite being relatively useless in everyday life, the vast amount of knowledge transferred to the young Lord will undoubtedly be helpful in future occasions.
Ser Garin Horpe, aged 55 Combat(40) Warfare(46) (Strategy, Endurance) Stewardship(40)
Ser Garin is the trusted castellan of the Griffin's Roost and has served Conningtons for his entire life. His old age and experience are invaluable to Lord Cregan, who is still relatively inexperienced with his position. Ser Garin is a modest and peaceful man with little ambition besides than serving the Connington family to the best of his abilities.
