Perros smiled and took his seat.

Viviane sighed. The princess was more arrogant than she had remembered.

Emelia waited til every one was seated, and then said, "It seems Lord Royce wishes me to travel to King's Landing." She took a sip of wine letting the moment pan out. She looked around the table, and added, "Do any of my most trusted lords have any advice on this matter?"

"Did Lord Royce give reasons as to why your presence is required?" Viviane asked.

Perros thin voice spoke up. "Do you have any suspicions, Your Grace? It is strange that the Lord Hand should summon you without good call."

"I believe he wishes to discuss the matter of Dorne's freedom. It was a deal made by the targaryens, and he has hated that it was forced down his throat by the King." Emelia replied.

Perros nodded, "well said, Lady Allyrion. I do not see the benefit of excluding yourself from the process. The king and his council know what the result will be of going back on their word."

"Well, if you go, Princess, is Lord Royce going to give you a say in whatever is decided?" Viviane wondered. "I mislike this. I fear it may be a trap."

Emelia smiled to herself, "I will not met him in King's Landing. While he controls the larger Kingdom, the Princess of Dorne does not come at the beckon of any man."
