Description: The Lord of Claw Isle and Head of House Celtigar, Lord Symon is a somber man, thin to the point of looking unhealthily gaunt with grey-green eyes, short black hair greying at the temples and a neatly trimmed beard. He has a nervous energy, quick eyes and a military mind to match. He is slow to make friends but usually judges his enemies well and uses his home's remote location to keep those at arms length. He still mourns the loss of his father, Robert, at sea but without any true feelings of remorse.
Lady Ellyn Celtigar, aged 41

Cunning: 25 (Persuasion)
Survival: 27 (Awareness)
Will: 30 (Oration)

Warfare: 48
Stewardship: 50 (Bargaining, Business)
The hardnosed and penny-pinching head of the household coffers, Lady Ellyn has made a skill of utilising what resources she has to hand to provide for her children as best she can. Older than her husband, she uses what treatments she can to maintain the golden sheen of her hair from youth, but crows feet and wrinkles are harder to hide. She has a small sour mouth and rarely smiles, apart from when around her children. A cold women with strangers, she saves all her affection for her family.
Ser Othor Crabb, aged 27
Combat: 70 (Fighting - Hand Weapon)
Cunning: 15
Survival: 37 (Stealth, Awareness, Animal Handling)
Will: 20
Knowledge: 15
Warfare: 58 (Strategy)
Stewardship: 25
A loud and slovenly man, and the heir of House Crabb, Ser Othor is fat for his age and regards this as sign of a life led to it's fullest. Despite his girth, he maintains a deceptive strength and speed and makes up for what little intelligence he has in learning how best to beat a man on the field of battle. Deeply uneasy when not fighting, fucking or drinking, he is never happier when away from the bitterly cold coast of his homeland where, in his words, "the pigs tend to look prettier than the women!" he spends most of his time, and father's coin in Kings Landing and it's environs.
Second Tier Characters:
Bran Celtigar, aged 13
Combat: 55 (Fighting - Hand Weapon)
Warfare: 48 (Endurance)
Survival: 37
The sandy-haired cocky heir of House Celtigar is usually to be found leading a gang of local children around the rockpools and alleyways of Crabbton and it's surrounding hills, pretending to be warrior knights, outlaws or whatever story strikes their fancy. Surprisingly adept at combat for his age, his tutors despair of ever getting him to pay as much attention on the affairs of the household as he does on terrorising the servants or playing pranks on his sister.
Becca Celtigar, aged 10
Combat: 50 (Athletics)
Stewardship: 35 (Bargaining)
Will: 30
An energetic and wiry girl, Becca drives her tutors mad with her need to explore and complete disregard to her needlework or embroidery. Her slender blond frame and eays smile belies a stubborn nature and an angry temper when roused.
Ser Jon Celtigar, aged 38
Combat: 55 (Fighting - Hand Weapons)
Warfare: 48 (Strategy)
Cunning: 25
Leader of the Household guard and captain of the Celtigar flagship, Golden Claw, the younger twin of Lord Symon is a more outgoing and jovial man than his brother, and though they share a similar appearance his broad smile and more muscular build makes them easy to distinguish. Never happier than when out to sea or drinking with his men, he prefers the company of soldiers and sailors to that of his childless wife, which causes some wagging of tongues but Lord Symon is quick to squash any foul rumours about this.
Maester Vickon, aged 52
Knowledge: 35 (Healing, Learning)
Survival: 27
Warfare: 40
The advisor to old Lord Robert, Maester Vickon has been retained in service to his son Lord Symon. Despite his advancing years, Vickon has an energy to him younger men might envy and his grey air and quick gestures give the impression of vitality rather than infirmitude. He tends the castle ravens and keeps up to date with the comings and goings of the high and mighty and ensures that House Celtigar is never the last to know of important events.
Smiling Rafe Summerwine, aged 29
Combat: 50 (Athletics)
Cunning: 25
Survival: 37 (Stealth)
Always grinning, always charming, always clumsy and bumbling Rafe, ready with the laugh, joke and salacious song or tale, his broad squat frame hides a nimble set of hands and feet. Bald, brown-eyed and always smiling a bright set of teeth to all-comers.
Nominally the court fool, Smiling Rafe serves another purpose for Lord Symon, that of his eyes and ears. Few people pay attention to fools or jesters, thinking them slow of wit or inconsequential. Rafe uses their inattention to garner whispered words of gossip from their lips, or that of their retainers and ensures any choice piece of information is sent on to the Lord or Maester. If he harbours any other ambitions, he is clever enough to hide them.
Region: Dragonstone
House Size: Medium
Claw Isle is the home of House Celtigar since the arrival of the Andals to Westeros and lies just to the East of Crackclaw Point, at the entrance to the Bay of Crabs which gives this house it's sigil & motto. It is a windswept and storm-lashed place which breeds hard men used to the sea and dependant on it for their livelihood.
Lord Symon Celtigar, newly come into his inheritance since the loss of his father at sea, now commands this House and it's fortunes together with his wife Lady Ellyn and their children.
Only time will tell whether this is the start of a new age of glory and renown for Celitgar or whether this ancient house will continue to slumber in obscurity
