"Oh. How many brothers do you have?" Isolde wondered. "I'm an only child, myself."

'I have three brothers.' She replied. 'I am the youngest.'

[Marie]

"That's nice," Isolde murmured. "Are you close to your brothers?"

[Helyn Caron]

'No i am not, they are not home a lot, i am quite a quiet girl normally.'

[Marie]

"Oh, but there must be other girls for you to talk to. Did you say which house you are from? I don't recall."

[Helyn Caron]

'I lived at Nightsong, i am house Caron.' She said

[Marie]

"Ah, House Caron of the Marches. Of cousre. They say the Carons hae sweet voices and are musically talented. Do you sing or play, Helyn."

[Helyn Caron]

'I play the harp a little, but i more interetsed in books and riding, i like to learn of the lands.'

[Marie]

"Oh that's interesting. You'll be able to help your husband with his work," Isolde suggested. "Would you like to do that?"

[Helyn Caron]

'If that is what my husband wishes of me then very well, i would in deed be willing to help him.'

[Marie]

"It would be good for you, I think, if you can find the right sort of man."

Isolde smiled warmly.

"But it's difficult to know what a man is before you marry him."

[Helyn Caron]

'Yes i quite agree, i am sure i will find the perfect man.'

[Marie]

"I live in hopes. I shall keep my eye out for you. I assume you'd prefer a lord to a younger son, though?"

[Helyn Caron]

'I am not really botherd with their status, i will be happy with what ever my father can get.'

[Marie]

"oh? Most ladies would want the man with the most wealth and power, unless they have already fallen in love with someoneof a lesser rank," Isolde laughed. "I've a goodbrother unwed, if you're interested. He serves as Lady Viviane's Captain of the Guard. House Toland is old and large, with many sons and daughters."
