A shady wood where residents of the castle can come and walk or read or just spend time alone, or pray to the Old Gods if they are the blood of the First Men. The godswood is dominated by a heart tree.

Isolde stepped into the godswood with Helyn.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" She said. "I like to sit here with my sewing or a book, but not by the heart tree. The face frightens me. it's so fierce. Worse than my husband in a temper."
She winked and giggled.

Isolde laid out bread and meat and cheese, which was to be followed by grapes and slices of honeyed apple. There was a flagon of Dornish wine to follow.
"Are you betrothed, Lady Helyn?" She asked as she spread butter on her bread.

"Ah, perhaps I shall find you someone," Isolde said.
It was again impossible to tell if she was serious or not. She bit into a slice of cheese, chewed and swallowed.
"Do you know what kind of men you like yet?"

'It is not something i have thought of to be truthful.' She said. 'But i think it is the real reason father sent me to court.'

Ah, then I wonder that he is not here to help you find your husband. Although, if you loves you a great deal maybe he would rather you made your own choice?" Isolde suggested. "I was never granted that luxury."

'Are you not in love with your husband then?'

"No. Our marriage was made as an arrangement between my father, and my husband's family. I knew his sister when I lived at Sunspear and she told her mother, Lady Toland, who wrote my father. Mark and I rub along well enough but we're not in love," Isolde confessed. "Does that seem very wicked?"

'No, my mother told me storys the same when she married father, she loves him now, but it was her duty and the love grew.'

Isolde nodded.
"I might grow to love Mark. That's good to know, truly. My own parents are happy, I know, and so are Mark's. So are you looking to marry for duty and hope love grows, or to fall in love straight away?"

'I should like it to be love, but i will do what ever my father wishes of me of course.'

"Of course, but I'm sure your father will want you to be happy. Mine does, I know. He would not have given me to Mark if he did not believe him a suitable husband for me."
She shrugged and nibbled a chicken drumstick.
"How is the food?"
