Balon Harlaw is present among the fleet, representing his lord father, the Thane of Harlaw. Accompanying him is his bastard brother, Dagmer Pyke, and Andrik the Smiler, one of Lord Harlaw's captains. The trio sails on Andrik's ship, the Grinning Corpse, one of many longships among Greyjoy's flotilla that sails north.

Urrigon Drumm and his heir, Balon, also number among the fleet, sailing aboard their flagship Red Storm. Also with them is one of their captains, Erik Pyke, distant kin to Balor Greyjoy.

Balor grunted, "Welcome aboard Harlaw." His voice rasped harshly, and he did not look up with more then a glance.

Balor grunt at Drumm in reply, "Speak your minds, before I have my piece."

Balor looked at Harlaw for the first time, and spat harshly onto the floor, "You even try figurin it yourself? Or are you a man who needs everything explained to them." He leaned back slowly, "You have anything to add Drumm?"
