A small port town, Ryamsport is ruled directly by House Redwyne. It is named after the famous Kingsguard of legend, Ser Ryam Redwyne, and is a bustling place with a good number of inns, markets, and brothels. Those who wish to speak with the Redwynes typically dock their ships here.

Lady Victory and the Seven Deaths glide into the extensive docks of Ryamsport. The forest of bobbing sails and masts dwarfs the little town itself.
Oromyr Redwyne disembarks from his ship and waits for Gruffyd to do the same. "It's a short ride to the Vineyard," he informs the Harlaw. "Will you be staying long?"

"I would not spurn your lord brother's hospitality, though neither would I overstay my welcome. The King's tournament is months off, but it is a long journey from here to King's Landing, even with good winds," he replied mildly, disembarking and leaving strict orders with Maron and his men to keep the crew under control while in port. "I oughtn't be here for longer than half a fortnight, perhaps less."

"We heard news of the tourney not so long ago ourselves," Oromyr says. "I think some of my nephews plan to go. And why not, with that prize? If Lannister and Royce wanted to beggar themselves to watch knights joust, it's no skin off my back."
"Will it be just you coming to the keep, or some of your men too?" Oromyr asks, as one of his men returns with horses. Then more frankly, "Can you ride?"

"I place my trust in the honor of Redwyne, my men will remain aboard my ship; I've given them strict instruction to keep out of trouble while in port, so do not fear on that account. My men do not disobey my orders," he added in a soft voice, that made his words seem all the more ominous. "I shall admit, that the purse is what draws me as well; as for riding, I do so well enough to get by." he said, climbing up onto one of the horse's back with ease.

"Good," Oromyr responds curtly. He mounts up as well, and leads Harlaw towards the Vineyard.

Harlaw follows in silence, his eyes drinking in every inch of the surroundings, and committing them to memory for potential future use.

The ship, The Shrewd, sails into port. The captain begins to unload some cargo under the watchful eye of his employer, Ser Bernard Fossoway.
The knight waits for the sailors to unload everything, then he tells the captain to wait for him, before he and his men ride toward the Vineyard.

After Lord Hugo returns from his visit to Brightwater, there is a bustle of activity in the Harbor. The Lord Redwyne is not home for long, for soon he leaves at the head of a small fleet.
Ten Redwyne ships, including Lord Redwyne's flagship and his heir's powerful warship, sail from Ryamsport. They are joined by five galleys each from the bannerhouses, Stonecrab and Goldwyne, and an additional five Oldtown warships on loan for hunting pirates. The twenty-five ships sail west and north along the coast.
