House Corbray of Heart's Home stands to the west of the Vale and is a loyal and honorable house to the Lord of the Vale and Regent and Hand to the King, Lord Breyn Royce. Lord Alaric is a young man newly made Lord after a recent battle with the Men of the Mountains of the Moon. Lord Waymar Corbray was struck down from his horse and captured when the bandits retreated. Alaric swears that he shall find his father and spends night and day planning on how he can return into the Mountains and find his father. With him there is the once great warrior Magnus of the Mountains once the greatest fighter of the Moon Men clan. But many years ago Waymar captured the great man after a duel that was said to of been fought from sunrise to sunset. Finally Lady Forlorn cut through the wildman's sword disarming. Now Magnus teaches young Alaric the ways of combat. With Alaric is the other old Knight of Heart's Home Ser Kyle Stone, said to be a bastard Royce by some, a Bastard Arryn by other's no one is sure but the once great Tourney Knight has slowed down in his age and no helps run the castle of Heart's Home teaching the young Lord Alaric about sums and budgets with Maester Robert.
