"Please don't make mention that I told you of this or you went on my behalf. I fear for her safety. I can't imagine what I would do in her position. It must be so difficult. I thought that might be why Queen Rhaenys came."

"Arya, I spoke to Morgan before, and I am Daemon's sister. I hope that she can think of me as a friend to her."

"If you come as King Daemon's sister, I am not sure how she would view you." Arya knit her brows.

"She knows that I was against Joanna and Daemon's marriage."

Aryanna felt the material of her arm rests. "Yes well, there is not much hope for her, it may be best to give her a little bit though."

"Well even seeing someone other then the Kingsguard and my brother may be good for her." Mari said.

"And if they don't allow you to see her? That is a possibility."

Mari's eyes widened and sahe shook her head. "Mother, are you not listening to me! I dont want any of my family in danger or close to this family in any way. I would never allow Tybolt to do anything like that. If you want it done do it yourself." "Perhaps I will, but I need support," Rhaenys answered. "I cannot do this thing by myself, you must know that. I thought perhaps you were sufficiently troubled to support me, my love."

"I want to!" Mari exclaimed, "I want to help but like I said, none of my family will ever get close enough to the Targaryens to be in trouble like that. Plus I do owe Daemon for letting me and Tybolt back."

"My love, you owe Daemon nothing for doing his duty as your brother. Besides, he may have hnelped you once, I am not sure he will do so again. He seems blid to anything save his own pleasure now," Rhaenys sighed.

"Who else could have overridden Steffon's order and restored Blackhaven? Tybolt and I knew that we did wrong and that Steffon would have been outraged, thats why we left in the first place. Tybolt feels that we owe Daemon, no matter the reasons behind him letting us back Mother."
Marianne sighed a little. "If Tybolt was to help you and something happened to him I swear that I would never ever ever be seen in Westeros again, and neither would my children. You dont know just how much he means to me. If anything ever happened to him then I would be lost."

"Losing a beloved husband is a terrible terrible thing," Rhaenys said quietly. "I know what it feels like, my love, but I also know that life goes on. Still, I see that I cannot and should not force you into a difficult position. Terrible as it is to lose a husband, it's infinitely worse to lose a child, and I have lost both your eldest brothers now. If I turn a blind eye to Daemon now, I do not know what purpose life will have."

"Mother, that is why I am keeping both my husband and my children as far away from this as I can, so that I lose neither. And I will help you as best I can but I dont want Tybolt to have anything to do with court ever. Same as Adelene and Oscar will never have to face this place."

Rhaenys thought for a moment. Mari seemed to be the most sensible of all her children but she seemed to be forgetting that children grow up.
"What if they want to come? Would you stop them?"

"As long as there is a Targaryen on the throne yes. I would rather that they went to the free cities for years and not see them then they come to court." Mari said with venom.
