Quentyn knocks on the door.

He is allowed entrance. Servants are packing things for their departure. When Maekar sees Quentyn he dismisses the servants.
"Commander, come in," he said, placing some books in a chest.
"You wanted to speak of the Three Heads, I believe?"

"I do," Quentyn says, entering. "I have heard troubling rumors, and wondered if you have encountered the group before."

"I am afraid I can be of little help. I have investigated them, and found them to be an organisation that is well-known and widespread, but what exactly they are involved in seems to be a well kept secret."

Quentyn steeples his fingers. "A man told me it was they who hired the Three Hills to try to kill Lady Aryanna."

"Yes, I heard a similar rumour, but did not have any confirmation for it. And more importantly, I do not know why they would be involved."

"From what you have learned in your investigation, do you think it possible that the Three Heads hires out its services to men with money who do not wish to get their own hands dirty?"

"I imagine that it's very possible that that would fall into the wide-range of activities they would be involved it."

Quentyn nods. "If you discover anything else about them -- or anything else related to this mess -- I would appreciate hearing of it."

Maekar nods. "I will, and you the same, Commander."
"One other thing," he said, before Quentyn rose to leave. "My sister Marianne came to speak with me after she returned from her time in the Free Cities. She claimed Ser Tomas Thatcher had been her protector while she was there, and was adamant that he was innocent of the crime of murdering his father. You chased after the man, what would you think of such an idea?"

"I think if Ser Tomas was to seek a royal pardon, there are few better ways to go about it than to have a close relative of the King in his debt. That is a theory." Quentyn pauses for a moment before fixing Maekar with a strange, deliberate stare. "I think it would be better if the world forgot about Tomas Thatcher."

"It does not seem like Ser Tomas wishes to be forgotten, however," he said, his tone curious at the stare Quentyn had given him.
"You make a fair point though, likely that was Ser Tomas's plan. The only reason I bring it up is because Marianne was so certain of his innocence. But she is a trusting girl, too kind hearted for her own good."

Quentyn nods. "Tell me, cousin, do you plan to travel with the court or return to your keep?"

"I will be returning to my keep, I have been too long absent from it. I suppose you will be returning to King's Landing?"

"The King's business takes me to Oldtown," Quentyn replies, "Though after my duties there are concluded I suppose I shall return to King's Landing, at least for a time. My manse in the city should be completed by then, I hope."
