Maekar and Anni

[Helyn Caron]

Anni's Face went whiter. 'I'm...I'm what?'

[Fel]

Maekar seemed pleased as he looked at his wife.

[Helyn Caron]

She looked at her husband. 'Are you pleased?'

[Fel]

"Of course," he said, and he kissed his wife on the cheek, "this is excellent news."

[The Stranger]

"I can determine nothing to be the matter, probably just morning sickness," The maester said,

[Helyn Caron]

She smiled at the Maester. 'Thank you.' She turned and smiled at her husband. 'I am pleased you are so happy.' She tried to sit up

[Fel]

He stopped her, "rest, my dear."

"Thank you maester."

[Helyn Caron]

She lay back. she had no energy to argue with him.

Anni sat on the sill of the window watching the world go by. She didnt go to the execution she didnt think her stomach would hold out. She was awaiting her husbands return unsure of what his reaction to her would be.

[Fel]

Maekar returned several hours after the execution had happened.

He said nothing as he entered, and didn't seem to notice her. He took a seat and seemed lost in thought.

[Helyn Caron]

'How are you my dear?' She asked quietly still looking out the window.

[Fel]

"Fine, my dear," he answered vaguely. He tapped his foot.

[Helyn Caron]

She looked at him. fear in her eyes. She stood slowly. 'Would you care for a drink or some food?'

[Fel]

He waved away the offer. "Nothing."

[Helyn Caron]

'Are you going to talk to me about what happened?' She asked in a barelya udible tone
