Maekar and Anni

[Helyn Caron]

Anni walked into their chambers. her face was white

[Fel]

Maekar sat idly by the window, with a book in hand. The desk in their chambers was no longer buried under a mountain of parchment and scrolls.

He looked up at his wife as she entered. "Is something amiss?" he asked.

[Helyn Caron]

'I feel unwell.' She replied. 'How are you my dear.'

[Fel]

"I am restless. Should I call the maester for you?"

[Helyn Caron]

'I should be fine my dear.' She suddenly felt faint. 'Maybe i should be seen by the maester.' She grbbed a chair to keep her balance

[Fel]

Maekar called for the guard outside the door to go run and get the maester for Anni.

[Helyn Caron]

Anni put her hand to her chest and breathed deeply. 'I'm sorry my dear, i dont know what has come over me.'

[Fel]

He stood and walked to her, leading her to the bed to sit down.

"I am certain it is nothing, rest while you wait for the maester."

[Helyn Caron]

She lay on the bed. And waited. 'Will you stay?' She asked him

[Fel]

"I will," he nodded, bringing a seat to sit beside her.

[Helyn Caron]

Anni lay there. She felt tired. 'It's probably just the heat.' She told him.

[Fel]

Maekar nodded, and poured a cup of water for Anni, bringing it to her lips.

[The Stranger]

The Maester comes.

He leans over the Lady Anni, and inspects her carefully.

"How long have you been pregnant?" The maester asked, looking up at Prince Maekar.

[The Smith]

The Grand Maester entered the room. He was studying the work of the Junior man.

[Fel]

Maekar looked surprised at the maester. "Ah, we had not known maester." He looked at Anni.
