Francis hide frustration behind a mask of indifference. Would the punishment never cease? Not only were the Hightowers flooding the man's coffers for the the piddly damage done by the Dawn Raider, but they were going to strip House Tyrell of its few remaining honors.
Francis spoke in his softest, least offensive tone, "I can see milords' logic for taking it out of the hands of the Lord of Uplands, but surely it needn't leave the Reach...es... entirely. The Warden of the South has long been a Reachman. There are deserving men there."

OOC: I never heard anything about it, so I'd assume it's still in Lannister hands.
Horas shrugs. "The title of Warden has always been more of a ceremonial honor than a position of real power. That said, Lord Caron is simply a bannerlord and not a lord paramount, and others might chafe at being subordinate to him. I would suggest Rindwynd Tyrell."

"No Lord Regent, I think the Lord Hand's suggestion would suit well. Forgive me if I appeared off color, I am imagining the tirade I shall have to hear from the Uplands. I shall have to ask if the Maesters have anything I can put in my ears to dull the likely buzzing."
