"Is that likely to happen? Is your man especially skilled at arms?"

"He was able to defeat three men in close quarters and has experience in the field. Though I am not sure how he compares to the likes of Ser Aiden. If he does well, perhaps he can be a candidate on the King's Guard." Arya suggested.

"Then he soun ds an excellent candidate to guard Morgan, but would you not miss him as your own guardian?" Joanna asked.

"I could probably find another, I would be with Morgan or yourself on a consistent basis. If it's Morgan that is trying to plot against us, she will have little room to maneuver with our eyes on her."

"True enough. I wish i did not suspect her but I don't know who else it could be. The worst of it is, she and I could still be the best of friends if Daemon had not come between us."
She shook her head as if shaking away those thoughts.
"I should not waste time on wishing things were otherwise. It does no good. I think the next stelp though is to consider who else is close to Morgan. She most likely had a go-between. Or several, for that matter. It seems unlikely that she would act on her own behalf. We should find out who she would choose to act for her."

"You're right, she doesnt have much wherewithal to do things on her own. Someone who doesn't like the Targaryen family? Since she is not of the blood, there might have been people that have contacted her instead of her seeking them out."

"Perhaps. What about the Dornish, or the Northerners? Or...the Iron Islands, though this sort of sneaking business is not in their style.."

"I wouldn't count them out. I don't really know much about them. I think we should watch who Morgan speaks with when we are not with her."

"Yes. I doubt I will be with her often but you could watch her when you are with her and perhaps we could convince one of the bedmaids to join with us."

"That's a good idea," Arya nodded. "Somehow I think that Becca will play a part in the coming transition."

"Why Becca?"

"Have you spoken to her at all? To be your lady, otherwise she may stay with the Queen."

"No. I didn't want to take all Morgan's people from her and I thought Becca would rather stay with Morgan. Don't ask me why, it's just a feeling I had. Although, I could ask Becca, if you are willing to stay with Morgan in order to watch over her. Do you thiink she would accept?"

"She thinks that you don't like her. And is apprehensive about approaching you about taking a spot with you."

"I do like her. Why wouldn't I?" Joanna asked with a sigh. "I would be happy to invite her to serve me if that is what she most desires."
