[Marie]

"Oh good, that soudns promising," Joanna said with a laugh. "I have not spent much time with Maekar around his children. Is he a good father?"

[Helyn Caron]

'He's very good with the children. more so now her has the time.' Anni smiled. 'I have to say, other than the queasyness...i did miss being pregnant.'

[Marie]

Joanna gave Anni a strange look.

"How could you miss being pregnant?"

[Helyn Caron]

'I've always felt closer to my child when i am carrying it.' Anni's cheeks reddened slightly.

[Marie]

"Really? That's sweet of you, but do you not live in fear of the birth, or resent your increased size?"

[Helyn Caron]

'I dont mind the growing, i know its protecting my baby. the birth i worry about of course, but doesnt every mother?'

[Marie]

"i suppose so. I love the child I'm carrying, of course, but I still can't wait until he's here. Not least because Daemon will let me fly again. I miss that more than anything else, so, yes, I will not miss being pregnant at all. Then again, I've done it more than you so I've a right to be tired of the whole process."

[Helyn Caron]

Anni smiled. 'Now i like to keep my feet fermly planted on the ground. i could not even think about flying as you do. Horses are high enough for me'

[Marie]

"Oh, Daemon will be relieved to hear that!" Joanna laughed. "He's very possessive when it comes to the dragons. I love it dearly. It gives me a sense of freedom I cannot otherwise experience, and the dragons are wonderful creatures too."

[Helyn Caron]

'I find them curious creatures, but i dont think i could ever fly one.'

[Marie]

"AThat's perhaps for the best but I will take you to meet them if you like?"

[Helyn Caron]

'I would be pleased to accompany one day Joanna.'

[Marie]

"Excellent. I'll arrange it when matters are more settled," Joanna promised. "I love all the dragons, of couse, but Valyria is the one I ride. I think she has the gentlest nature of all three."

[Helyn Caron]

'I will look forward to it. ' anni smiled.

[Marie]

After Daeron's trial, Joanna barred her solar door and refused to admit anyone who was not part of her own personal household. She remained in seclusion after the execution, which she refused to attend.
