Joanna's Rooms

[Helyn Caron]

'I've never had any pets.' Anni said. 'But i've always wanted one.' She stroked the pup behind its ear.

[Marie]

"I can't give you this one, but we should find you a pet of some kin d," Joanna decided upon impulse. "What would you prefer, dog or cat?"

[Helyn Caron]

'I would prefer a dog, but i am not sure Maekar will be impressed with the idea.'

[Marie]

"WHy not? Does Maekar not care for dogs?"

Joanna tried to remember if Maekar had been bitten as a child but nothing came to mind.

[Helyn Caron]

'I am unaware t be honest but we've never had any so i just assumes.' Anni said. She handed the pup back to Joanna. She was starting to feel a bit warm.

[Marie]

Joanna cuddled the puppy. It had half-woken at being passed back to her and she soothed it with gentle fingers and soft murmurs.

"Ask him, and we'll see what we can do. Everyone should have a first pet, even women grown."

[Helyn Caron]

Anni smiled. 'Your too good to me your grace,'

[Marie]

"Joanna," she corrected softly. "There should be no 'Your Grace's' between friends as good as we will surely become. Anni, you don't feel threatened because you are not of our blood, do you?"

[Helyn Caron]

'Old habits.' Anni smiled. 'I find it hard to use your first name. I guess deep down yes i feel slightly threatened. the worst of it was when MAekar was unhappy with me.'

[Marie]

"But that is resolved now, is it not? Did you make an agreement never to speak of the difficult time you had together"?

[Helyn Caron]

'We did.' Anni smiled. 'But there is always the feeling deep down and far back which i can not shake, but its probably just me.'

[Marie]

"Perhaps. I suppose the trouble is, once you have quarrelled like that you cannot forget it even though you may forgive. Well, I find you easier to talk to than Maekar so I will always be happy to hear you out."

[Helyn Caron]

'Thank you joanna, i appreciate it greatly and i will return the favour.'

[Marie]

Joanna grinned.

"Alright. I'm sure you are worrying too much. Maekar can be difficult to talk to but I think you will be very happy together so long as you both pay attention to each other's needs."

[Helyn Caron]

'He has fussed since we found out about the baby.' anni smiled.
