The Dragons come to the Eyrie

[The Smith]

It is late in the day when three dark shapes swoop from the sky and perch on the towers, and battlements. Sarella the riderless one twines about a tower easily.

Dracarys landed, and Daemon leaped from his back. He walked across the courtyard, and waited for Jo to join him before entering the Keep.

[Marie]

Joanna leapt down from Valyria with less confidence than Daemon but he had been riding the dragons for years, she for a much shorter time. It was clear that her skills had improved much over that time. She now felt confident that she and the dragon could trust one another. She walekd over to join Daemon. Her riding leathers were black and her only ornaments were a necklace of a jet dragon on a silver chain and the sword at her hip.

"I'm ready," she said.

[The Smith]

Daemon nodded to the panicked guards and servants, and lead Joanna in. "Who runs this place when Maekar is not around."

[Marie]

Joanna shrugged.

"Maekar has a castellan and a steward, the same as all lords of his rank."

[The Smith]

Daemon looked about, "You were here recently. Do you know his name?"

A senior servant came springing out, and knelt to the King. Before he could speak Deamon ordered him to take them to their rooms.

The servant complied instantly.

[Marie]

Joanna sauntered along behind the servant and grinned at Daemon.

"We'll settle for nothing less than the best rooms in the castle," she called ahead to the servant. "Oh yes, and I require hot food and a bath in my chamber."

[The Smith]

The King smiled, "She will take the lord's chambers. Place me as close as possible."

The servant nodded and hurried ahead of them.

[The Smith]

After spending a night in the Eyrie, the King and Joanna fly toward Lannisport.
