"Thank you. On horseback or dragonback? It does not matter either way but if you mean my enemies to die by dragonfire it would please me to give the order myself."

The maid admitted him at once. Joanna sat with a pile of books in front of her, the only volumes of medical treatises that Runestone contained.
"Daeron," she greeted her brother. "How are you today?"
