"I DON'T KNOW!" Jon snapped, "if I knew, I would say, but I don't know." He reached for the wine glass, and their hands touched briefly, but he shrank away after wrapping his hand around the stem. Joanna said nothing for a minute or two but then the silence grated on her nerves so much she had to speak. "Please, Jon, I love you. I don't want us to quarrel.." She leaned forward and kissed him. |

"Eleyna is eight, Cassana is six and Silvana two, better girls you couldnt find anywhere." Aalina said fondly, having known the girls most of their lives, as she had Joanna.

The bard lowers his head, his blond ponytail falling into the back of his shirt collar.
"I am sorry if I have brought up painful memories for you."
He falls behind her and continues in complete silence.

Jherek looks up and quickly steps alongside Aalina, pleased that she is not THAT angry with him.
"The journey was long and hard, especially considering that my original contract with the Hand's son was turned down. I am here in one piece, though. Thank you for asking."
