Nerrick hurries into the College, carrying Ser Nerrick on his shoulder.
"I've got a wounded man, here!" He shouts, "Someone needs to see to him!"

There is a massive iron gate, solid and black, which blocks entry to the College. a Tiny slot is opened, and a man in a red robe sticks his head out.
"What is the meaning of this?"

"This man, Ser Nerrick, is a member of the city guard. He's lost half his arm in the line of duty, he needs a surgeon!"

"That would appear to be a factually correct statement, although it is not an answer to the question," the man replies.

Mors gives the man a cold stare before replying.
"The meaning of this is that you lot, being knowledgeable, must know a thing or two about dressing wounds!"

"That is also a factually correct statement, although, the syllogism you appear to be proposing seems to contain a number of logical fallacies," the man replied.

"Can you stop the bleeding or can't you?"

"Not me personally," the man replies.

"Well, find me someone who can!"

The man blinked several times.
"Again the incompleteness of your syllogism has me quite perplexed. Proposition A: a man is bleeding. A appears to be true. Proposition B: The College has men trained to halt bleeding, also true. But A+B do not necessarily equal D: The College halts this particular man's bleeding. It would seem you are missing a proposition C: Currently unknown, so that A+B+C=D, this man is treated for blood loss, here at the college."

"We're working on Lord Lannister's business, is that enough, or will I still have to line your fucking pockets?"

"Lord Lannister has over ten thousand men in his employ, are we expected to provide medical aid to all of them? No. There for, C does not equal, Being agents of Lord Lannister, which was, in any case, immediately apparently. And we are quite lavishly funded, so no, C would not appear to equal provide the college with some manner of coin," the man says.
Nerrick gurgles blood.
"Do you have the rest of the arm?" The man asks, after his attention was drawn to Nerrick's gurgling.

"Seemed rather useless at this point."

The man threw up his hands, "Well if you'd brought the arm, perhaps we could help you, but I really don't see the point now," the man says.
