Maekar pointed out that Joanna wasn't allowed to bring any of her entourage up from the Gates of the Moon. So I retconned so that it was one of the maids Maekar had put around Joanna. I figure There are just as likely to be spies in Maekar's household as Joanna's anyway, and this way it just looks like Joanna got to one of them.

As for Maekar's attack, Joanna got away, with Aalina (one of Mari's npcs) and the three kids. her follower Lucas Templeton bit the dust, as did Jon. Figure a husband and follower are a fair price for a get out of jail free card.
And Steffon got his ass handed to him by the Dornishman. I bumped a killing blow down to a maim, because I think its more interesting that way, builds enmity.

But now Steffon has outted Rhaegar as being behind the burning of the Dornish Village. Now the King has a real problem, since that's TWO of his relatives fucking over the Dornish? How's he gonna handle that?
I would think he'd put the onus on Steffon, and make him pay Wyl a good penalty or something, try to calm the Dornishmen down.

And now, Steffon is trying to organize an ambush to murder Princess Ariadne and Wyl on their way back from Storm's End.
And the men he asked to do this?
From the Wyldes of Blackhaven With Rickard Kellington and his own man Ser Tarrick. I am thinking that when Tarrick and Kellington show up, they will be all by themselves, forced to watch the Dornish ride away. the Steward at Blackhaven will say they didn't get the raven.
If he tries to threaten them, I think they'll send the message to pretty much everyone.

I'm thinking like 1000 Gold Dragons a year for five years to Lord Wyl, and 500 Dragons a year, for five years to Princess Ariadne, and that he will not allow Stormlander men under his command to cross the border without permission under pain of death. Than give Rhaegar 200 Dragons a year for five years as well.
The King can make clear that this is to repair the damaged villages and compenstate Wyl, but it will also make it harder for Steffon to raise troops against Dorne for the next five years.
