A wide open space, normally where men can train and practice.

The court files out into the bailey to await the fighting. Ser Dorian Wells steps forward into the circle, wearing Dornish scale mail, and wielding his short thrusting spear and circular metal shield. He smiles at Lord Steffon knowingly.

As the fighting ends and Dorian Wells stands over Steffon, Spear at his throat, Musgood curses quietly that no one took him up on his bet.
Otherwise the court is quiet as they wait for the downed lord to speak.

The maester rushed forward along with several guards who helped Lord Steffon to his feet.

The crowd watches, trying to comprehend the meaning of this declaration by Lord Steffon that not only he, but the King's cousin Rhaegar was also involved in raids against the Dornish. The Queen looked to her husband, while Becca Thatcher had her hand over her mouth to hide an open mouth of shock. Farman looked visibly angry, and Musgood stopped smiling about his twenty dragons.
"Your grace?" Princess Ariadne says ever so softly, "the rigors of combat have shown that Lord Wyl speaks the truth. The Lords of Storm's End and Summerhall have raided Dorne against your laws. What punishment do you have for them?

"A thousand dragons for five years from Lord Steffon to Lord Wyl, ought to hamper Baratheon's adventurous streak and rebuild the destroyed villages and lives his men took. As for Rhaegar Targaryen.. say 200 dragons for five years for the same?" Ariadne says with a slight smirk.

Steffon was already being practically carried into the castle by his men, while the maester attempted to minister to his lacerated knee.

"Since there are no objections your plan is approved." The King waved vaguely at Ariadne and turned to walk from the room.

Princess Ariadne smiled, arched an eyebrow and surveyed the room, as if daring the rest of the court to comment.
Then she turned on her heels, and the Dornish contingent moved back towards their chambers, making preparations for a departure.

Becca leaned over and whispered to Anni,
"Well, that was exciting for your first time at court. It's not always like this, I promise. What do you make of it?"
