Ser Robert Redfort and his brothers lead the men remaining from their loss against the clansmen to Ironoaks.
Ser Robert and Lord Jon ride to the gate to speak with Lord Waynwood.

It takes a moment for the guards on top of the gatehouse to recognize the blood and mud spattered men as something other than Clansmen, but the gate is eventually opened, and Lord Wynn Waynswood comes out to greet Ser Robert.

"My lord, excuse our appearance," Robert said, brushing some mud from his shoulder, "I'm afraid our run in with the clansmen didn't go quite as well as we hoped."

"Bastard clannish," Waynwood mutters, "Well your welcome to rest here Ser Robert."

"My thanks, Lord Waynwood, but we don't intend to rest long. I won't have it said I was bested by savages armed with cudgels and armoured in only fur. Do your men still have enough fight left in them to join us when we move out again?"

"I'm afraid my men are spread out across the land to defend the farms and holdfasts. We dont' want to get raised again," Wynn says.

Ser Robert nodded, "no, why would you? Twice is enough for any man."
"Very well, I am hoping Lord Royce agrees to bring some men to join us soon. Though if the clannish go on the move again we may have to leave without him. Have you had any word on where they are now?"

"They burned a tavern on the northeast corner of my lands, so they may be moving in that direction."

"Then I suppose they are still moving towards Old Anchor. May I send a letter to Lord Melcom, my lord?"

"No, to the north of that I think, out of the mountains and into the Vale itself. Perhaps they mean to cross over into the Northern Mountains and attack the Corbrays. And of course you may send a letter."

"Into the Vale? These clansmen are audacious, to be sure. I will write to Lords Corbray and Hunter then, and see if we cannot snare this Red Hand war chief who leads them between us."

"Indeed. Until then, have a meal, it tastes all the better for being part of what the damn clans did not burn."

"Yes, that would be appreciated, my thanks," he said, following Lord Waynwood inside.
