Connor drives his wagon along the rode dressed as a commoner in merchant clothing. A sword is hidden under his seat and out of sight. The second wagon follows close behind dressed in similar clothing.

Eventually, they reach a fork in the road near Oldstones. There is a boy standing at the crossroads, his hands outstretched, and he was staring at the sky.

Connor pulls his wagon up short and gestures for his other driver to go and investigate the boy standing in their way.

The boy looks at the guardsman, but does not say anything.

"Boy," Connor says down to the boy. "What are you doing here on your own? Are you lost?" The guardsman looks at the child warily, unsure what to do.

"I am the Guide." the boy replies.

Connor shakes his head, "I'm afraid I don't follow. The guide to what pray tell?" Tully motions for the guardsman to move back to his wagon and he does so with no argument.

Connor shakes his head, "No my boy, we know exactly where we are going. Perhaps you should come with us, I am not one to leave a child alone on the road."

"We're traveling to Seagard with a load of grain," Connor replies. "Come up in sit next to me, I hear there are bandits in these parts. You don't want to be running into them now do you?"
