After a few conversation with a fish wife, Tully is directed towards a man standing before two ox carts. He is cursing loudly and beating the animal with a small stick, but the ox does not seem to notice or give a damn for it.

Connor watches the man as he walks up to to ox cart. "It seems you are having a hard time geting your ox to move, could I lend a hand perhaps?"

The Ox lows, and than eventually starts to move. "Thank you milord, forgive me for blocking up the road," the man says, his head bowed low.
Tully improves to Novice Animal Handling.

Connor pats the ox and smiles. "It is no problem, but I am wondering if you could help me a bit. I am seeking the badits that styles themselves the Gods Eyes. Can you know of them?"

"I know of 'em. I used to have five ox carts," The man spit, onto the ground. "Like to have none when I pass back through that way."

Connor nods his understanding. "What would you say to aiding me in setting up a rap for these bandits? All you need do is drive your carts up the road, me and my men will take care of the rest."

"I understand it is not a particularly appealing idea, but odds are you will be attacked again anyways, why not have the added security of my men just out of sight," Connor asks. "You will of course be compensated in kind for your help, I would not ask you to do such a thing simply for nothing."

The man's eyes were nervous and darting, "well.. Hows this then, why don't you buy mi carts and oxen from me, and than you can be your own bait eh?" The man says hopefully.

Connor thinks for a moment before nodding. "That arrangement would work for both of us. Name your price goodman, and I assure you, your oxen and carts will be returned should we be successful."

Connor looks at the man, going over figures in his head. "Fine then, two gold dragons it is."
Connor pulls two coins from the purse at his side and presses them into the man's hand.
