Connor had split his men into two smaller bands, giving the command of the second group to one of his second in command Ser Devan Rivers.
The two groups separate and scour the woods for bandits, seeking information in any village they come across.

They encounter several villages. All of the Villagers say that while they have heard of the God's Eye bandits, they don't know of them raiding here. They believe that Tully should cross the Green Fork, and inquire near Fairmarket.

After hearing the same suggestion from multiple villages Connor turns his men in that direction. They stop at Fairmarket and stable their horses before looking asking around the town about the Gods Eye bandits. Connor finds the tavern while his men circulate through the market place.

The Tavern is a loud, rowdy one, with lots of men inside, wenching and drinking. As Connor enters, everyone seems to stop, and stares.

Connor stops short at the sudden drop in noise and surveys the room with a confident look. "Well seeing how I have your attention, I might as well say my bit. I am seeking information about the whereabouts of the Gods Eye bandits. Any who help me will be rewarded in kind." Connor stands framed in the door, his arms crossed over his chest.

"How much reward?" someone yells from the back.

"Fifty gold dragons to the one whose information leads to the demise of the bandits," Connor says looking at their reactions.

"Bullshit! No one would pay that much for information," someone else yells.
The crowd begins to talk and drink again.

Connor shakes his head. "Then I will go elsewhere and find one who will take my coin." Connor walks to the bar and takes a seat, sliding a few coins across the counter. "But for now I'll take a glass of your darkest ale while I wait for my men to return."

The barkeep took the coin, and put a mug of ale on the counter.
"milord, you should be careful, this is a pretty rough crowd." he says softly. "They ain't bandits, or nothing like that, but... they is pretty rough and tumble."

Connor glances around at the men talking and laughing in their cups. "They look the part, but I have little worry. They will gain nothing by attacking me, but I can see the reason for your concern. What could you tell me of the bandits? Surely you here much and more."

"No one here gives a damn for the God's Eye. They'd take this town and burn it if they could." The inkeep says. "they hide in the neck, I think, and they come down to attack the small villages."

"Is that so? Why is it that no one likes it here? I can see how they might not harbor feelings for the Gods Eye, but I find it odd they have no care for their own town," Connor says with a curious look on his face.

After finishing his drink Connor thanks for barkeep and leaves the tavern. He walks along the streets towards the market looking for his men. He asks around the market for anything concerning the Gos Eyes bandits.
