Robert laughed. "Challenge is it? Pity my arm is broken, I might have challenged him myself and become this clan's new chief." He laughed again at the idea of himself as clansmen chief. He shook his head.

Robert grinned as she stole the bread from his hand.
"And how do you join the clan?" Robert asked, though he could guess as to the most obvious way.
