The pins appear to be spiraling out in a circle, with the oldest abductions appearing at villages near a mountain range several days journey from Silverhill. The abductions have then increased, and spread outwards in all directions.

"Damn." Daeron said. "If it were the other way we'd know roughly where he will strike next." He leaned forward and tried to find a pattern among the outward moving cases, to see if they were perhaps moving in a clockwise formation and what the time between each taking was.

In this regard there did not appear to be an order. The Golem struck north,south, east and west, seemingly at random. The only noticeable pattern was the expanding range.

There was not, with the exception of the one village Daeron had previously visited.

Daeron frowned and looked for the most recent place the Golem had taken a victim from as well as seeing how many days ago it was.

The last recorded date was last week, at a village north of Silver Hill near the mouth of the river.

Bowden grumbled but set his acolyte to work making a copy of the map with its marked notations.

Daeron took both map and list with a smile. "Thank you, Maester. You have helped enormously." With a nod Daeron left to get his men and things together.
