Alexander Irwyn is shown into the Hand's study.
"Lord Irwyn," Horas acknowledges the other man, though he has never met him, "My compliments for the conduct of your men in retaking the city. What brings you here today?"

"Thank you Lord Hand, we owe it to the strength of the Warrior and the good fortune of Lord Barclay and the Ironborn ships," the young general does not smile. "Although I do not think now is the time for self congratulations, as undoubtedly our enemies continue to plot our demise."

"They do. The North has called their banners, and not for us. With Andry in captivity, we can hope they will surrender... but we should plan for war."

"Indeed I am also fearful of the enemies within the walls. Reports I've heard from the small folk is that many of the city's gangs are infiltrated by northerners. We need to root these undesirables out."

"Is that so?" Horas says. "I have a plan to take care of the gangs. They shall never be eradicated entirely, of course, but they should be reduced to a more manageable level."
Horas looks at Alexander. "We lost many skilled commanders in the battle outside the city. You are being promoted to the lead general for the combined armies."

Tytos walks in and smiles at Horas. "Greetings, cousin." Tytos sits down and looks over at his cousin. "I can't believe the bastards killed Warren. What has he ever done?"

OOC: I thought I was your uncle?
"Warren has done much in his life, but nothing to warrant such a murder," Horas says. "Should it help set you at ease, I believe his murderer is now dead."

OOC: Turns out you and Warren are both my second cousins.
"Who was his murderer? All I knew was he was dead. There was too much chaos for anybody to understand anything."

"From what I have pieced together, it appears he was murdered by a faceless man. But I believe he was either ordered or aided by Lyas Bolton, who died in the battle."

Tytos sneers. "A faceless man? They have become far too common. And Lyas Bolton, that worm. We can blame him for Roose Stark's troubles, I wager."

Horas shakes his head sadly. "You are no doubt correct. It should come as no surpise how young Roose has turned out, considering his foster father." Horas looks Tytos in the eye. "You performed well on the battlefield, Tytos. All could have been lost when Warren died if you were not there. I understand he was grooming you for a lordship of some sort. I could make that happen now should you still desire it."
