Ser Kenneth rides slowly in front of his Bloody Chickens, the Blacksmith Codswallow rides beside him and somewhere near the back the Astonishing Jonathon Biggs sings for the men.
With a one, two, three my lady said to me, my husband you can't stay out a whoring
but with a one, two, four I replied to her, but my wife those whores are so alluring
and with a four, five, six my lady grabbed my prick she said you won't while I am still living
and with a one, two, four, I ran promptly out the door cause I won't mess with a lady while she's gripping

They have marched for several days, and are perhaps two-thirds of the way to Pentos, when Kenneth notices disorder from the front, and a general commotion. Soon word was whispered down the line that a force of Pentoshi and Braavosi soldiers had skirmish with the lead scouts, and that the order had come down to prepare for battle lines, and a fight on the morrow.

Kenneth rode out to look for Quinno to see if the man had any more information.

//////////////////// When the battle ends the army returns to marching towards Pentos although Kenneth does so with the knowledge that the next battle will be even tougher and the walls of Pentos well defended.

As the army marches, Kenneth finds his way near the Myrish militia.

"Tougher for some than others," The old Captain says, tugging on a strap of his breast plate. "What can I do for you?

Kenneth shrugged, "was just curious what to expect when we got to Pentos. I have never traveled that way before."

"Nice city. Some good taverns. Pretty high walls though," He didn't seem enthusiastic about that.

"Will we have to settle into a long siege? I'd think with walls the force that escaped from yesterday would be able to hold us off if we are not given reenforcements?"

"Not to mention the fleet is to the south, and Pentos has a busy port. They'd never fall to a simple siege. I don't know Antonius expects us to do. At Myr the Magisters were debating sending another force of sellswords, but I don't know if they've agreed to do it yet."

"I probably could raise some more men from Westeros, twenty years of peace is a long time for us," Kenneth laughed. "Course after the monsters and the Reavers it's probably not a bad thing. Still a lot of veteran's around I imagine and some men aren't cut out for farming life at any age."

"Well, yeah, but how'd you get over there and back?" The Captain asked, scratching his head, "Obviously, I don't think The general would object to more troops if you brought them."

Kenneth nodded, he thought about mentioning the Dwarf but remembered what happened last time he sent Jonathon to try and recruit some men so he just grunted instead, "well maybe when we get to Pentos I'll see what can be done. I think the Archon's hired a bunch of ships to keep the city blockaded."
