Lysaer reads the letter, not wanting to open the other letters if he doesn't have to, but after reading it he decides to roll it again before he opens all to read but one, keeping that one sealed.

Each one contains an order for men to be positioned in pre-arranged spaces, except for one, which is a drafted order for Lord Dutovan's to withdrawal substantial sums of gold from his Iron Bank accounts, into a separate numbered account.
