Once they are down below, he takes the captain aside, and makes it clear that the girl is somewhat flighty and prone to fits of imagination, and that Bannen will be sure to reward the Captain with another payment for a swift an uneventful journey across the narrow sea. Shortly before the ship sets sail, Quentyn steps off and wishes the man a safe journey.
