The day after the King's Masquerade Ball, Marianne Baratheon is discovered to be missing by her brother, and the servants in Lord Steffon's manse. Steffon Baratheon sends men out searching the city high and low, as well as the Kingswood, for the young woman had taken her favorite horse and hunting clothes as well. Three days later it is discovered that Ser Tybolt Wylde is also missing from his brother's estate in the Red Keep. No trace of either of them is left, save the word of a dockworker who said a man and a woman matching the description of Ser Tybolt and Marianne boarded a ship to Braavos the night of the King's Ball.
