A myriad of vessels dot the shore as merchants and traders mill about, exchanging goods.

Netta walked the docks with precise steps that belied her general purposelessness. White Harbor's typical bustle intrigued her, regardless of the frequency of her visits here. It was a place she could observe yet be overlooked, blend into the crowd and view the world with fresh perspective. It was a place she could idly dream of life with maybe just five or six siblings, where she could be seen individually rather than collectively for once. But in the end her parents had still been disturbingly lustful, little could be about about that.

An elaborately crafted ship, sporting colors from across the sea was tied to land, her men scrambling to unload the precious cargo from such a long journey.
Several of the sailors eyed the girl hungrily as they passed, but they could not idle until they were finished unloading.

The girl paused before a gaudier appearing ship and scrutinized its colors quizically. It stood out from those immediately around it but she couldn't say from precisely where it originated. Her contemplation made her clumsy and she bumped into one of the sailors scurrying about.

"Is this the welcome I am receiving from a White Harbor native?" The man asked, his accent almost as noticeable as his swarthy complexion.

The bard stepped off the heavily-laden barge. He pulled his cloak tightly around him in order to shield him from the cold, and pulled his satchel tightly over his shoulder, the end of a lute sticking out the top. He looked around for a guardsman that could give him directions.

There is but one guard near the harbor, and he appears to be sleeping.

The bard approaches the guard, and looks at the his slumbering form. he ponders for a moment, then thinks better of waking an armed man. He walks aimlessly down the road, heading in the general direction of Runestone to meet his new lord.
