"Well..."
She tilted her head to one side as she thought about it, comparing the two experiences.
I suppose the very best bedtime experiences might be compared with what I remember of flying. Tell me, though, what do you prefer, bedroom activities or flying a dragon?"

Daemon shook his head, "How can you choose between them? I would rather die then give up either." He smiled, and looked at her, "Fortunately, I do not have to make a choice."

"How fortunate, to be a king."
She grinned at him.
"I can almost contemplate giving up bedroom activities in exchange for being able to ride a dragon."

Daemon smiled, "That sounds like a good idea, but in practice I think you would grow frustrated swiftly."

She giggled and twirled a lock of pale hair.
"Why would you think that? I like bedsport well enough but it's not the only thing that matters in this world."
Her eyes narrowed.
"I hope you don't mean to forbid me to visit my lord husban'bed until I may ride the dragon?"

"The thought did not cross my mind until you put it there." Daemon laughed, "And no, a King's decrees should stop at the edge of a bed. How the two of you sleep is no affair of mine."

Joanna continued to giggle.
"Quite right too, because I thinkthat is one decree I would have to disobey. I love my family but not quite that much."

Daemon clutched a hand to his chest, "You would betray me for that? I knew that to be true about Daeron... but not my sweet, innocent and extremely chaste sister Jo as well." He tickled her again.

She pushed his hand gently away and leaned in close to his ear.
"YOu yourself said you would not dream of asking such a thing of me. You can't have it both ways. You know my heart is loyal."

"I have no right... I am just shocked to find out that your such a glutton for that." Daemon smiled, "I still see the small girl who constantly told on me and Daeron to mother. I need to open my eyes, and see the woman you have become instead.

"So you do," she said. "And I am not half as debauched as you seem to think. You have it quite wrong, I promise you. For myself I could live without bedsport if I had to, but it would be unfair on poor Jon if I were to deny him. Now come, you would not like it if Morgan denied you, would you?"

Daemon grinned slightly, "I am sure if Morgan were refusing I could convince one of my loyal subjects to serve their king." He laughed, "Did those words just make me a tyrant?"

Joanna laughed too.
"Not at al. The only thing that would make you a tyrant would be if you forced Morgan against her will, or another of your subjects. If the other woman were willing it wouldn't matter at all. What a king does in his bedchamber is his own business, so long as his partner is willing."

Deamon nodded, "You are quite wise in this matter. Who trained you on the intricacies of a King's Bed law?" He chuckled, "Is there some mysterious chapter of your life that I do not know of?"

"Daemon!" She exclaimed, pretending to be scandalised. "You know perfectly well there is nothing."
She stood up.
"I believe I will go if you can do nothing but make sly comments."
